Face painting as our main activity at your party

We will paint up to 20 children within a 2 hour party, allowing for approximately 5 minutes per child.  This works particularly well if you have other activities planned to run alongside the face painting, such as a bouncy castle.  Please be aware that you will be responsible for supervising and providing other entertainment for the children at the party under this option. 

Face painting as an additional activity within a music party or craft party

We provide up to 1 hour's painting within a 2 hour party.   We usually provide face painting for 30 to 45 minutes at the beginning of the party, with any remaining children painted at the end of the party, after the other activities have been completed.  Due to time constraints, painting will be limited to a choice of quick and easy half face or cheek designs.  We advise having two staff members present (particularly for parties of more than 12 children) as this means we are able to run other activities alongside the face painting.

Temporary tattoos and mini makeovers

For children aged 4 and over we can offer an alternative to face painting with temporary tattoos, coloured or glitter hairspray, nail art and mini makeovers.  This is usually supplied as part of a craft or music party.

Some points to note regarding face painting

	We usually only paint children aged 3 years and over.  Younger children will only be painted on obtaining consent from their parent or carer.  We do not paint children under 2 years.
	We will not paint anyone who is or appears to be suffering from:  sickness, cold sores, conjunctivitis, skin conditions such as eczema, open cuts and scratches.
	We are not liable for allergic reactions to the paints and products used.  If in doubt, anyone who has allergies or sensitive skin should not have their faces painted, or should request a skin test at the beginning of the session.  If there is no reaction then we would be happy to paint them at the end of the session.
	Please be aware that while face painting is taking place, the other children will need to be supervised, either by having an additional staff member present, or by the adults attending the party.
